(BRANT TWP, ON) – On September 6th, 2011 at 10:41 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of a vehicle in the ditch along County Road 3, Brant Township. Officers located a Grey Ford Focus and found the driver wasn’t injured, but very tired. 44 year old Malcolm TAYLOR of Brant Township was charged with Fail to drive in marked lane. The South Bruce OPP is asking motorists to recognize that safe driving takes your full attention and concentration, which fatigue affects. The Traffic Injury Research Foundation reports that a fatigued driver is involved in 19% of all fatal collisions in Canada. If you’re working long hours, travelling a long distance or tired when you leave, pay attention to the signs of fatigue and pull over.
