On December 19, 2013 at 9:00 am, Barrie Police officers attended a Coulter Street residence regarding a fight between a father and his son. The victim (father) was subsequently taken to the Royal Victoria Regional Heath Centre for medical treatment. He received bruises and several broken rips from the assault.
Officers later located and arrested a 34 year old Barrie man for Assault. He was transported to the Barrie Police service and held for a bail hearing.
