(CARRICK TWP, ON) – On March 11, 2016 at 2:06 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 3 in Carrick Township. Officers arrived on scene with Bruce Paramedic Services and Mildmay Fire Department find that a Beige Nissan left the roadway and struck a house before coming to rest.
The lone occupant of the vehicle has been pronounced deceased.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit (TTCI) has been called to assist the South Bruce OPP with this incident.
Bruce County Road 3 has been closed between Side road 21/22 and Elora for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident location.
The investigation is in its early stages.
