Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – Richmond Street at Sunningdale Road

On Thursday November 24, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., emergency personnel were called to Richmond Street at Sunningdale Road in relation to a collision involving two motor vehicles.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the one driver was deceased, while the other driver involved had sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver has since been released from the hospital and is currently in police custody. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided later today.

Members of the Traffic Management Unit remain at the scene.
