On October 8, 2015 at approximately 2 pm, a collision occurred on Erb Street West at Dietz Ave, Waterloo between a minivan and a motorcycle. The motorcycle, being driven by a 26 year old Kitchener man, was westbound on Erb Street approaching Dietz Ave. The minivan, being operated by a 41 year old Bloomingdale woman, was stopped facing southbound. The minivan proceeded southbound to make an eastbound turn onto Erb Street West. The motorcycle struck the minivan. The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the minivan was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
