(TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON, ON) – On Saturday September 1, 2018 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 911 call on Concession 6, Moorefield. Initial reports indicated that a male had sustained grievous injuries when the riding-mower he was operating rolled over on him at the steep embankment of a ditch.
OPP as well as Mapleton Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended.
51-year-old Stanley Arthur ELLIOTT was pronounced dead at scene. Foul play is not suspected.
