(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On September 8, 2015 at 7:18 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash on Bruce County Road 20 in Greenock Township. Officers responded to find that a Black GMC pick-up truck and a White Cube van were involved in a head on collision.
A passenger in the cube van was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification. The driver of the cube van was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Both occupants of the pick-up truck have been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The OPP Traffic Collision Investigation unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this incident.
Bruce County Road 20 has been closed between Bruce County Road 15 and Bruce County Road 1 for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.
