(BLUEWATER, ON) On Saturday October 1, 2011, shortly after 11:00 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a serious single vehicle collision on London Road, south of Brucefield in the Municipality of Bluewater.
As a result of this collision, the driver of the vehicle has been pronounced dead at the Clinton Hospital. The identity of the deceased will be released pending the notification of next of kin.
Barricades have been erected advising of the road closures. London Road (Hwy # 4) in between Mill Road and Centennial will remain closed for several hours to allow for police investigation. Police are requesting the public use alternate routes of travel around the collision scene.
The Huron County OPP with the assistance of the OPP Western Region Traffic Collision Investigation Unit, are investigating this crash.
