On Friday, June 24, 2016 at approximately 1:35 p.m., emergency responders attended a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at Wilton Grove Road and Old Victoria Road.
Upon arrival, it was determined that it was a fatal collision with one person pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional people were transported to the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Khalil Watfa, 18 of London. The 25-year-old London male passenger from his vehicle has been discharged from hospital. The 59-year-old Ingersoll female from the other vehicle has also been discharged from hospital.
It has been determined that speed was a factor in this collision. Even though members of the Traffic Management Unit continue to investigate this collision, no charges will be laid.
