(WEST PERTH, ON) – On May 29, 2018 at approximately 1:50 p.m., members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision at the corner of Montreal Street and St. David’s Street, Mitchell.
As a result of the collision, the 81-year-old, female driver of the sedan was transported to hospital and later transferred into the care of ORNGE Air Ambulance and taken to a trauma centre in London. The female driver has died as a result of her injuries.
The driver has been identified as Eleanor YOUNG, of Stratford, Ontario.
