Fatal Collision Update – Name Of Deceased Released

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) – At approximately 4:00 p.m. June 1, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 by Jones Baseline, Near Guelph Lake. Initial reports indicate that a sedan and motorcycle had collided.

Wellington County OPP, Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Service and Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department responded. The 32-year-old male motorcyclist was transported but was pronounced deceased at hospital. After notification to the next of kin, the deceased has been identified as Hardeep SIDHU of Caledon. The lone occupant of the sedan was uninjured.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) continue to investigate the cause.
