(WEST PERTH, ON) At approximately 12:40 a.m., on September 17, 2017, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County Paramedic Services and the Perth East Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the Township of Perth South.
The single motor vehicle was located in the area of Perth Line 29 and Perth Road 134. The lone occupant of the motor vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as Thomas HYMERS, 33 years of age from the Township of Perth South. The deceased was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck when his vehicle left the roadway.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation Unit is currently investigating the collision.
