On Saturday, July 16, 2016, emergency services were called at 11:14 p.m. in relation to a single-vehicle rollover on the northbound lanes of Highbury Avenue, north of Commissioners Road.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that two adult females, neither from London, were occupants of the involved Chrysler Sebring. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger remains in hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.
Members of the Traffic Management Unit remain at the scene.
The southbound lanes of Highbury Avenue have been reopened. The northbound lanes will remain closed until around 7:30 a.m.
