(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On November 27, 2016, at approximately 7:45 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario and other emergency responders were dispatched to a single motor vehicle crash on Centre Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates a Chevrolet car was travelling southbound on Centre Road, when it crossed the northbound lane, and left the roadway to the east. It travelled down an embankment, rolled, and came to a rest on the south side of the Ausable River.
The driver (and lone occupant) of the vehicle is deceased.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are attending the scene to assist with the investigation. As a result, Centre Road is closed from Glasgow Street to Townsend Line. Motorists will have to find an alternative route.
