(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and members from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) are currently on scene investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred this afternoon.
Shortly before 2 p.m. officers from the Huron County OPP Detachment along with personnel from the North Huron Fire Department and the Huron County EMS responded to a two vehicle collision on Amberley Rd (County Road 86), between Gibbons Line and Beecroft Line.
Preliminary investigation revealed that two vehicles collided resulting in the death of a male driver and a female passenger.
Further details and the involved person’s identities are being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
Amberley Rd between Gibbons Line and Beecroft Line remains closed as police continue to investigate this collision. The road is expected to remain closed until approximately 10 p.m., to assist with the investigation. Motorists will have to find alternate routes
