(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) –The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Sunday November 06, 2016 shortly before 5 p.m.
Investigation revealed that a Honda Fit travelling west bound on Amberley Road East of Bluevale, left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck the attached garage of a residence located on the south side of the road. The female driver, the lone occupant of the motor vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. She has been identified as 67-year-old Eugenia KOSZYCKI of Waterloo. No injuries were sustained to anyone at the residence.
OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were deployed to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
The Huron County Roads Department placed road closed signs on Amberley Road at Harriston Road and Ramsey Line at request of the OPP. Amberley Road was re-opened around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday November 06, 2016.
The Huron County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed the vehicle involved in the collision (a grey coloured Honda Fit), just prior to the collision, to contact them. If you have any other information you are requested to contact the Huron County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
