On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, emergency services were called to Adelaide Street at Central Avenue at approximately 6:25 p.m., in relation to a collision involving a pedestrian.
A vehicle travelling northbound on Adelaide Street struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the street. The pedestrian, a 61-year-old man from London, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Management Unit.
The name of the pedestrian is not being released at this time pending next of kin notification.
