(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit is currently investigating a motor vehicle and pedestrian collision that claimed the life of a 30 year old male. The vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision.
The collision occurred between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Frank Kenny Rd north of Russell Rd. The north and southbound lanes of Frank Kenny Rd between Russell Rd and McFadden Rd were closed due to the investigation and were reopened at 12:30 p.m.
The identity of the victim is NOT to be released at this time.
