On the 7th of January 2014, police recieved a call to a residence regarding a family dispute between a 17 year old male and his mother. The dispute began when the mother discovered that her son had been smoking marijuana in the family home. When the mother advised her son that smoking an illegal substance in her residence would not be tolerated, the son became irrate.
During his fit of rage, the male began punching holes in the wall and smashing family photo’s and art work. Police attended and as a result of their investigation, arrested and charged the male youth with Mischief. The youth was released on an appearance notice with a court date in February 2014.
