On July 01, 2015 the Waterloo Regional Police Service was contacted regarding a missing five year old child at the Canada Day celebration at Riverside Park in Cambridge. Numerous police officers and concerned citizens responded in an attempt at locating the missing child. Through investigation it was learned that the complainant had fabricated the incident. A 25 year old Cambridge female has been arrested and charged with Public Mischief. Waterloo Regional Police would like to thank all of the concerned citizens who assisted in the attempt at locating the missing child.
