Fake Cop Searches Vehicle And Steals Wallet After Pulling Victim Over

Detectives assigned to the Hamilton Police Criminal Investigation Division, Mountain Police Station (Division 30), are investigating a report of a male impersonating a Police Officer who stopped a female driver in the area of Upper Gage and Mohawk Road in Hamilton on Monday June 13th, 2016 at approximately 11:00 pm.

The male’s vehicle had a blue flashing light coming from the dashboard. This male subsequently searched the female’s car and stole her wallet.

Suspect Description: male, white, approximately 30-35 years old, very slim/skinny, clean cut, no facial hair, blonde short hair with buzz cut, gelled up.

He was wearing all black running shoes, pants looking similar to police pants (red stripe down the side), a collared shirt, no name tag, and a type of badge worn very high on his shoulder.

Vehicle Description: dark coloured Ford car similar to a Fusion, with 4-5 antennas on the roof, no markings.
