On Sunday just before 8:00 p.m.in the 1200 block of 4th Avenue East, an Owen Sound man was arrested for Driving while being Disqualified. David Copp had been operating a motorcycle with a fabricated license plate and did not possess a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence. The 23yr old Copp was held for a Bail Hearing on the 13th of July with respect to the Criminal Code offence, as he was already before the Courts on other charges. The disqualified driver was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act for 11 offences as well as charged under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act for not having insurance.
