The Hanover Police Service conducted a one month investigation into
firearms offences that has led to the execution of a search warrant
at a residence in the 400 block of 5th Avenue in Hanover.
On November 10th 2014 at 3:00am members of the Hanover Police
Service executed a search warrant for firearms at a Hanover
residence with assistance from the OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit, the
OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, OPP Canine and the Saugeen Shores Police
Service. The team of officers arrested six suspects
found inside the residence at the time and two other suspects that
attended the residence while the search was being conducted.
The investigating officers seized 45 grams of methamphetamine, 1.9
grams of suspected heroin and small amounts of marihuana and
marihuana resin along with evidence to support that these suspects
were involved in drug trafficking. The investigating officers
also seized $1,575.00 in Canadian currency, stolen property,
compound bows, ammunition, prohibited weapons and explosive
devices. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at
$5,000. The total number of charges laid was 52.
The explosive devices were later detonated by OPP explosive
technicians for safety reasons.

1. Christopher Sterling Jackson, age 30 of Hanover, Ontario

2. Crystal Michelle O’Brien, age 23 of Hanover, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of cannabis marihuana
Possession of cannabis resin
Possession of herion
Possession of explosives for an unlawful purpose
Possession of a prohibited weapon
Possession of property obtained by crime x 2
O’Brien was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody
3. Stephen David Cardinale, age 30 of Hanover, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of cannabis marihuana
Possession of cannabis resin
Possession of herion
Possession of property obtained by crime X 2
Cardinale was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody
4. Jessica Dredge, age 20 of Walkerton, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of cannabis marihuana
Possession of cannabis resin
Possession of heroin
Possession of property obtained by crime X 2
Breach of probation X 2
Dredge was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody
5. Justin Hillier, age 26 of Sundridge, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of cannabis marihuana
Possession of cannabis resin
Possession of heroin
Possession of property obtained by crime X 2
Breach of recognizance X 4
Hillier was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
6. Aaron Patrick Marshall, age 26 of West Grey, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of cannabis marihuana
Possession of cannabis resin
Possession of heroin
Possession of property obtained by crime X 2
Marshall was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody
7. Adrian Mathew Tripp, age 41 of Hanover, Ontario
Charges:
Possession of methamphetamine
Tripp was released from custody on an undertaking and is scheduled
to return to Walkerton Court on December 8th 2014 to answer to the
charge.
8. Glen Delaperrelle, age 38 of No Fixed Address
Delaperrelle was arrested by members of the Hanover Police
Service during the search of the residence for outstanding arrest
warrants held by the South Bruce OPP for Arson X2 and Uttering
Threats and was turned over to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The execution of this search warrant is an example of policing
partners working cooperatively to combat crime in our local
communities. The arrests of these suspects will disrupt the
distribution of methamphetamine in Grey and Bruce Counties.
The Hanover Police Service, Saugeen Shores Police Service and the
Ontario Provincial Police remain committed to ensuring that suspects
involved in illegal activities are held accountable.
