(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On December 13, 2017 at approximately 8:48 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male at his residence in the Township of Southgate, without incident, for criminal harassment.
On December 12, 2017 the accused had been warned by police to stop having unwanted contact with his estranged wife. Despite the police warning he attended her residence the next day where he repeatedly knocked on the door and repeatedly rang the doorbell for several minutes.
The 38-year old accused was charged with criminal harassment and possession of marihuana. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for December 15, 2017.
