Eric Reilly, William Parsons – Drunk Driving

(KINCARDINE, ON) – The South Bruce OPP are reporting 2 more incidents where drivers have been charged for drinking and driving offences:

LP09267255 – 51 year old William Parsons of Hanover is facing a charge of Operate with Over 80 milligrams of alcohol following an investigation on a motor vehicle in the ditch along County Road 4, Brant Township on October 19, 2009. Parsons is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on December 14, 2009 to answer to the charge.

LP09268141 – 24 year old Eric Reilly of Walkerton is facing charges of Impaired Driving causing bodily harm, Operate with Over 80 milligrams of alcohol causing bodily harm, Dangerous Driving causing bodily harm and Fail to Remain following a 2 vehicle collision along Highway 9, Greenock Township on October 20, 2009. 59 year old Kathleen Kincaid of Kincardine received non life threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to the Walkerton hospital for assessment. Reilly is to appear in Provincial Court on October 22, 2009 to answer to the charges.

Motorists are reminded of the dangers of drinking and driving. Impaired drivers pose a serious threat to public safety. The South Bruce OPP have a zero tolerance for impaired driving.
