(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On April 6, 2012 just after 9:20 a.m. Huron OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle roll over collision that occurred on Kirkton Road in South Huron. Officers spoke with the male driver and noted he had been drinking alcoholic beverages. The driver failed a roadside breath test and later failed two intoxilzer tests at the Huron Detachment. Upon searching the male, a quantity of an illegal drug and a prohibited “butter fly†knife were found.
As a result, Eric HENDERSON, age 19, from St. Marys has been charged with Drive with Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. A court date is scheduled for Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on May 7, 2012. He was issued an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension
