(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 31 year old male from Chesley following a traffic stop on October 26, 2014. Just after 8:00 p.m. Huron OPP officers stopped a Dodge Ram pickup truck on Brussels Line near C Line Road. Officers spoke with the driver and upon checking the status of his driver’s licence they determined he was currently under suspension. He was placed under arrest and a subsequent search revealed the driver was in possession of a controlled drug (Morphine). The street value of the seized narcotic is estimated at approximately $9,000.
As a result, 31 year old Enos MARTIN from Chesley has been charged with Possession of Schedule I Substance and Drive Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension. He has a scheduled court appearance on December 11, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham.
