EMS Oxygen Tank Missing

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of an oxygen tank that was stolen during the early morning hours of June 30, 2015. Paramedics from Huron County EMS attended to a call for assistance at a Carling Street residence located in Exeter around 1:00 a.m. Upon loading and transferring the patient to hospital the crew noticed they had left behind an Oxygen tank and carry bag.

The paramedics returned with the hour and checked around the parking lot area where the bag was last seen however the tank and bag were missing. The area was searched extensively however the tank has not surfaced.

The oxygen tank has a regulator connected to the tank and it is housed in an aqua coloured padded carry bag. The tank is labelled with a County of Huron sticker. The value of the carry bag and oxygen tank is approximately $500. – A photo is attached.
