The London Police Service concluded the investigation into the assault of Jeremy Sippel that occurred on July 2, 2013 while he was in custody at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Center.
The following six individuals, also in custody at the time of the assault, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm, contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada:
Raymond Ramsey, 23 years
Marcel Shipway, 19 years
Malcolm Ripley, 24 years
Anthony Shreve, 22 years
Joshua Douglas, 24 years
Wayne Hackett, 20 years
