Elizabeth FLEMING – Drunk Driving

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On April 24, 2018 at approximately4:10 p.m. a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a white SUV on George Street East, Town of Fergus.

While speaking with the driver, the officer formed the opinion that she was impaired by alcohol. A Roadside Screening Test was administered which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

49-year-old Elizabeth FLEMING of Fergus has been charged with Driving with over 80mg of alcohol per 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on May 22, 2018 to answer to the charge.
