Electronics Stolen From Unlocked Vehicles

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating two thefts from unlocked vehicles that took place on London Road in Central Huron. The thefts occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on February 12, 2012 and 6:30 a.m. on February 13, 2012. A Garmin Nuvi 265T GPS system and a hands free Bluetooth speakerphone were stolen from a Jeep Cherokee. Also, a FM transmitter and attached extension cord were stolen from a pickup truck.

Both vehicles were left unlocked overnight. “Lock it or Lose it”. Huron OPP would like to remind people to always lock your unoccupied vehicle and remove all valuables.
