East-Wawanosh Candidate Terry Brake’s Platform For 27Oct2014 Election

If elected:

I will run for free and donate the monies back into the community.

I will ask Council to repeal By-Law No. 82-2008 as this By-Law
places restrictions on property owners’ land which affects their
rights. As I am a member/director of the Ontario Landowners
Association, I am adverse to all restrictions that are placed on
private property which is illegal.

I will make sure that the Township of North Huron is open for
business”. I have had personal experience with this issue and this
needs to be addressed and changed.

I will make sure that all roads in the East Wawanosh Ward are
brought up to standards. I will push for tar and chipping and/or
paving of all roads. The cost of maintaining these current roads
that are not up to provincial standards is costing more in the long
run and these monies could be put to better use for our Ward.

I will vote to keep the East Wawanosh Landfill site open and have
access to all forms of recycling. All profits from this Landfill
site will stay in our Ward.
