(South Bruce, ON.) – On May 20th, 2010 members of the Ontario Provincial Police West Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, OPP K9, and the South Bruce OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence located on Highway #21, in the Municipality of Huron Kinloss.
Inside the residence officers discovered a small quantity of methamphetamine and a Cannabis Marihuana grow operation. Dwayne SAVAGE 45 yrs., and Michelle ARMSTRONG 31 yrs., were arrested and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of methamphetamine, production of Cannabis Marihuana, Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the purpose of trafficking. The male accused was released with a court date in August of 2010. The female accused was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant that was also executed.
Numerous items were seized from the residence including a small amount of cash. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized is approximately $3500.
