(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday March 17, 2012 shortly before 11 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police officers were dispatched to a collision involving a gravel dump truck.
Investigation revealed that a full sized dump truck had been driving west bound on Line 39 west of Road 170 when a tire on the truck blew. The truck entered the north ditch crossed a residence laneway and lawn, struck trees, an above ground pool deck, a pool house and a propane tank. The pool deck was destroyed and damage to the pool house was minor. The propane tank was not damaged.
The 33 year old male driver from Huron East did not sustain injuries as a result of this crash. No persons were in the yard at the time of the incident.
