On January 23 2015 at approximately 2:50 am, police responded to a hit and run at the intersection of David St and Courtland Ave in the City of Kitchener. The driver of the remaining vehicle advised police that a white pick up truck had rear ended him and fled from the area.
Police responded to the area and located the pickup nearby driving in an erratic manner. The vehicle was stopped and a 25 year old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Impaired driving, Over 80, fail to remain at the scene of the accident and possession of a controlled drug. Both vehicles received extensive damage. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
