(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On July 24, 2015 at 7:18 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from Bruce County Emergency Medical Services regarding a male injured on an electric bike (e-bike) on Bryant Street, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula
The suspect e-bike was said to be driving erratically, losing control and landing into the ditch. Police located the injured male and found the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to the Bruce Peninsula Detachment for a breath test which he failed.
54-year-old, John Bryant of South Bruce Peninsula, was charged with impaired driving, over 80 milligrams and drive while disqualified.
He is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound Court on August 20, 2015 to answer to the charges.
