Early Friday morning an officer on routine patrol in the downtown core had occasion to investigate an auto and it’s driver. As a result of the initial investigation the officer administered a roadside breath test which the driver failed. The 30 year old Barrie resident was arrested for drive over 80mgs and was taken to the police station for further testing. The male provided samples of 170mgs and 160mgs. He was charged accodingly. It should be noted that this accused had been convicted for the same offence within the last two years.
