(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – On September 6, 2017, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed an erratic driver on Egremont Drive, Township of Adelaide Metcalfe.
Officers determined that the 59-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Richard GIBB, of London, has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on October 2, 2017.
