Members of the Barrie Police HEAT Unit were on patrol in downtown Barrie when a vehicle was observed swerving in and out of traffic.
Police attempted a traffic stop of the vehicle, which had no noticable effect on the driver who continued driving although at very low speeds.
Police finally stopped the vehicle and arrested a 43 year old female for Impaired driving.
She was taken to the Barrie Police Service for a series of breath tests which resulted in readings over four (4) times the legal limit.
The female was held till sober and is facing a January Court date.
