At 150 am Barrie Police attended the intersection of Blake and Vancouver Streets for a report of a singe motor vehicle collision.
Once on scene, it was determined that a motor vehicle was driven over the curb, caught some significant air and struck a hydro police. The lone occupant was treated for minor injuries at the scene and then arrested for impaired driving. The 26 year old Lion’s Head man provided two breath samples registering almost 3 times over the legal limit.
The driver will be released when sober with a future court date.
