Drugs & Vehicles Seized

On Wednesday, April 2, 2014 members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a search warrant at a Marconi Boulevard residence. As a result of this investigation, police seized the following:

1 gram of crack cocaine – $100
9 – 24 mg hydromorphone pills -$405
10 – 1 mg hydromorphone pills -$50
48 – 5 mg oxycodone pills -$120
1 gram of methamphetamine -$100
110 grams of cocaine -$11,345

2005 Chrysler 300 – $9,000
2006 Mazda 6 – $7,500

Total value – $28,620
Total cash seized – $12,614

The following charges have been laid:

Matthew Eggett (24) and John Moorhouse (35), both from London, are charged with:
– two counts of possess Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
– obstruct a peace officer, contrary to section 129(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Matthew Eggett is further charged with two counts of fail to comply with recognizance, contrary to section145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Blair Johnson (25) and Amanda Weeks (22), both from London, are charged with:
– three counts of possess Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Blair Johnson is further charged with:
– fail to comply with recognizance, contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
