(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial officers have charged a 32 year old male with Possession of a Controlled Substance following a traffic stop on July 21, 2013. At approximately 11:00 a.m. a Nissan Sentra entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at Dungannon Road and Mill Road. Officers spoke with the driver and detected the odour of marihuana coming from inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the driver was in possession of marihuana.
Morgan MCELLISTRUM (32) from Goderich has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 26, 2013 to answer to the charge.
