On Thursday, April 3, 2014, the Street Gang Unit, assisted by the Guns and Drugs Section (consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP), executed a search warrant at a Hilton Avenue Residence.
The following items were seized:
– 737 grams of marihuana – $7370
– Canadian currency – $1,225
– Jericho 941 Israel Weapon Industries .177 calibre pellet pistol
As a result of the investigation, the following London residents were charged with possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada:
– Luciano Tomasetig, 55 years
– Joseph Tomasetig, 27 years
– Anthony Tomasetig, 23 years
– Katie Fredericks, 24 years
– two young offender males, 17 & 16 years
Joseph Tamasetig and Katie Fredericks are further charged with fail to comply with breach of probation, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
One of the young persons was further charged with possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
