On Thursday the 30th of January 2014, three Kitchener area males were arrested by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Drug Branch. The males were arrested in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Manitou Drive in Kitchener. The arrests were a result of an ongoing investitgation into illegal drugs and drug activity. As a result of the investigation and arrests, 25.72 grams of Methamphetamine, 11.61 grams of Marihuana and two switchblade knives were seized. Two of the males were unconditionally released. The other male, a 45 year old Kitchener resident, was charged with Trafficking, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of Proceeds of Crime and held for show cause court.
