On August 24, 2014 at approximately 10:20am, police conducted a stop of a vehicle for a traffic related offence. A subsequent investigation result led to the arrest of a 25 year old Pembroke male for: Possession of Marihuana over 30g; Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine; Obstruct Police; Possession of a Prohibited Weapon; Possession of a Firearm while prohibited; Production of MDMA; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – MDMA. The male was also arrested on the strength of a number of outstanding warrants by the Pembroke area OPP. A 33 year old Pembroke female was also arrested for Possession of Marihuana over 30g; Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine; Production of MDMA; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – MDMA. Both arrested parties were held for show cause hearings to answer to their charges.
