Drug Charge at RIDE Checkpoint

DRUG CHARGE AT R.I.D.E. CHECKPOINT
(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 2nd, 2011 at 11:40 pm, members of the South Bruce OPP set up a R.I.D.E. check stop on Saratoga Road in Kincardine. On April 3rd, 2011 at 12:44 am, a car stopped at the R.I.D.E. and officers noticed the driver trying to conceal something under his leg. A quantity of illicit drugs was found in the vehicle and the driver was arrested. 23 year old Allan POISSON of Kincardine has been charged for Possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in Court on May 17th, 2011 to answer to the charge.
