(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) – On June 1, 2017 at 7:10 p.m., members of the Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSUS), with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region Canine Unit and the Bruce Peninsula OPP; executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Highway 21, Saugeen First Nation.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant and investigation, police seized methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis marihuana and OxyNEO. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of $795.00 cash and drug paraphernalia. The combined estimated value seized is $5405.00.
Phillip RITCHIE (49 years) from Saugeen First Nation is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine and possession of OxyNEO.
Robert REGO (22 years) from Toronto is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine, possession of OxyNEO and possession of cannabis marihuana.
Shane RITCHIE (32 years) from Saugeen First Nation is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine and possession of OxyNEO.
Rich Sharma (23 years) from Toronto is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine and possession of OxyNEO.
All four males were held in custody pending a bail hearing for June 2, 2017.
