Drug Bust – Joe Taylor & Shari-Anne Connor Face Trafficking Charge

(Town of South Bruce Peninsula, ON) On Friday, January 23, 2015, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Bruce Peninsula OPP and the West Region Emergency Response Team and West Region Canine, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Old Oliphant Road, Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant police seized cannabis marihuana, oxycodone pills, and offence related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia and cash. The combined estimated value of the seized controlled substances was $2230.00. The combined estimated value of the offence related property was $1,000.00.

Joe Taylor (51 years) and Shari-Anne Connor (44 years), both of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, are each charged with possession of marihuana for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of oxycodone.

Taylor and Connor were released on Promises to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertakings for a future court date at the Owen Sound Provincial Court.
