(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On December 17, 2014 at approximately 5:06 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence located on King Street in Harriston, Town of Minto.
One male party was taken into custody and a search incident to arrest was conducted. Police seized a substantial quantity of marihuana, methamphetamine, scales, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, Canadian currency and a replica handgun.
Kevin CHIPMAN age 38 of Harriston has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He was held for a Bail Hearing to answer to the charges.
