(ST.MARYS, ON) On Thursday August 15, 2013, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant at a residence located on Wellington Street South in St.Marys.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized a quantity of illegal drugs and offence related property. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $6,600.00.
The following residents of the home were arrested and charged:
Christopher HAMM (43) of St.Marys is charged with “production of a substance included in Schedule II†(cannabis marihuana) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and “possession of a Schedule I drug†(methamphetamine) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Louella NYE (45) of St. Marys is charged with “production of a substance included in Schedule II “(cannabis marihuana) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and “possession of a Schedule I drug†(methamphetamine) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both individuals have a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 16, 2013 to answer to these charges.
